A renewed and enhanced pre-show multisensory entertainment offer
In 2022, festival-goers witnessed a transformation of the event, with a host of new entertainment features including light, immersive and sensory experiences. These various installations and gathering areas will be back on the Grands Feux site this summer, along with a number of new features, including:
- Larger-than-life spinning tops
“Los Trompos” is a large-scale interactive artistic installation inviting visitors to enjoy an experience that is both meaningful and playful. Created by Esrawe + Cadena and presented in partnership with Creos.
- The Boîte d’art numérique presented by Hydro-Québec will be exhibiting a new artwork
This work highlights our relationship with consumerism and the ubiquity of screens in our lives, but also the fire that emanates from each of us and drives us to achieve great things. Visitors enter a container and discover evolving images on the screens, revealing a different kind of beauty associated with fire: the crackling, the flame, the symbolism associated with this element that has always fascinated human beings.
- Partner activations to enhance the festival experience
National Bank, Bell and SAQ will be on site to add to the Grands Feux experience and help bring the site to life.
- An exclusive exhibition presented at the Canadian Museum of History every Saturday evening of the event:
Enhance your evening by adding an access to the exhibition “From Pepinot to PAW Patrol® – Television of Our Childhoods” inside the Canadian Museum of History, and then access the outdoor site to take part in Les Grands Feux. Exclusive access available through the event box office.
- Further multimedia announcements will follow between now and the event, you’ll have to stay tuned for more details.
