Gatineau, July 19, 2022 — As of August 3, get ready to be immersed in an extraordinary universe. “You enter the site of Les Grands Feux, it is daytime. Following the fuse of time, you experience a slow transformation of space, a festive spirit is stirred within you. We invite you to an immersive journey into the heart of the light, under the pulsation of the fires that know how to transform the spark into flames. You will follow the rhythm of the music as it blazes, the creativity that springs from the shadows, the exhilarating smell of cooking on the fire. Your senses are awakened and you enter with us into the dance. We lead you to the fireworks of a great show that illuminates the immense sky. And you… you shine brightly.”
This is a glimpse of the new narrative that the public will be treated to for the 25th anniversary of Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy. Over the past two years, marked by the pandemic, the event has enjoyed a surge of innovation. Thus, it is an enhanced and forward-looking experience that participants will find, from August 3 to 20, thanks to the invaluable contribution of the governments of Canada and Quebec.

This is a unique opportunity to open a new chapter on the future, by bringing the public into a whole new universe, using new technologies and deploying new unique experiences! A one-kilometer experience dotted with original and multi-sensory installations
From lighted paths that transform before and after the show into a refreshing area called the Oasis, to a lighted rest area at the foot of the trees called La Lanterne, to a digital art work in a box called Lucioles and even an interactive light painting experience. These are all original experiences developed by Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy that the public will be able to discover every evening starting at 6 p.m., thanks in part to the Tourism Assistance Fund. These experiences will offer a light-filled complement to the pyromusical shows so beloved by the public since 1996! In the long term, this foray into the multimedia and digital worlds will allow the event to stand out and build a rich narrative universe through future editions.
