Attention! New official site entries

Les Grands Feux encourage sustainable transportation
Participants are encouraged to give a little love to the planet and to come to the event by active transportation or by public transit! In fact, two initiatives have been put in place thanks to the National Bank, sustainable development partner of Les Grands Feux: free bicycle parking set up in front of the Maison du Citoyen, and public transit with the STO is included in all tickets, every night of the fires.
Other good news: Ottawa residents and other pedestrians will be able to use the Alexandra Bridge as of 9:45 p.m. following the fireworks!
Soundtrack and voting for pyromusical shows online
Starting this year, the participants will be the judges of the great pyromusical shows. Les Grands Feux invites participants to evaluate the show they saw for a chance to win a pair of reserved seat tickets for the next show via the virtual platform XFEU.CA powered by Bell.
New: For the first time, the soundtrack is 4 hours long, and created exclusively for the event. It will transport the participants from 6 p.m. until sunset, progressing throughout the evening and the transformations that will take place on the event site. For those who can’t make it to the event site and enjoy the full experience, the soundtrack will be broadcast exclusively via this same platform, every night starting at 6 p.m.
The event takes place rain or shine
As usual, the event will take place rain or shine. Participants are invited to check the weather forecast to plan their outing accordingly!
Beware of umbrellas!
Umbrellas are not allowed not to block the view of nearby spectators and for everyone’s safety. In case of rain, Les Grands Feux recommends bringing a raincoat!
