What is the program and format of the 29th edition of Les Grands Feux?

In 2026, you can attend several immersive evenings from start to finish, offering a range of discoveries and pleasures combining international-calibre pyromusical shows, local gastronomy, and digital art. End the evening in style with one of the pyromusical shows, not forgetting the Grand Opening and Grand Finale!

What days will Les Grands Feux take place between July 29 and August 15, 2026?

Fireworks evenings will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from July 29 to August 15, 2026, namely July 29 and August 1, 5, 8, 12, and 15, 2026, starting at 6 p.m. at the Canadian Museum of History.

What are the themes and caliber of Les Grands Feux in 2026?

In 2026, Les Grands Feux is back with the international pyromusical show festival launched from our barge on the Ottawa River, with the Parliament of Canada as a backdrop! 25 minutes of dazzling fireworks and intoxicating music await you at the magnificent site of the Canadian Museum of History.

In addition to the Grand Opening and Grand Finale shows, several renowned countries will offer grandiose pyromusical performances. Check out the 2026 programming to discover the full list of participants.

What is the detailed schedule for fireworks evenings?

Every Wednesday and Saturday between July 29 and August 15, 2026, 5 hours of entertainment await you:

Site opening: 6 p.m.

Pyromusical show start: 9:30 p.m.

Last entry time before the show: 9 p.m.

Site closing: 10 p.m.

Ticketing

Where and when can I buy my ticket for Les Grands Feux 2026?

We encourage you to purchase your ticket online through our ticketing platform before your visit. Online ticket sales close at 8:30 PM on Feux evenings. Tickets are also available on-site at the entrance gates until 9 PM on Feux evenings only.

You can print your ticket or present it directly from your smartphone upon arrival at the site entrances.

What types of tickets and packages are available for Les Grands Feux 2026?

Ticket types:

General admission: adults, children, babies, and 6 FIRES Passport: gives you access to the event site and its activities. We recommend bringing a folding chair or blanket to set up on a grassy area.

Reserved seating: 6 FIRES Passport, 1 FIRE Experience: gives you access to the event site and its activities. A reserved seat will be waiting for you in one of our sections along the riverbank.

Reduced mobility: gives you access to the event site and its activities, as well as an adapted area with a bar and restrooms nearby. The companion is included in the ticket price.

Gourmet Evening: start your evening with a 3-course gourmet dinner at the Grande Galerie. The package includes dinner, as well as a reserved seat on the roof of the Canadian Museum of History to admire the end-of-evening pyromusical show.

Do I need to buy a ticket for my child or baby?

Anyone attending Les Grands Feux, regardless of age, must have a ticket to access the site.

Tickets for babies (0 to 3 years old) are free.

Tickets for children (5 to 12 years old) are available at a reduced price.

Is there a minimum age to attend Les Grands Feux site?

No, there is no minimum age to attend Les Grands Feux; however, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to enter the site.

Can I bring a folding chair or a blanket onto Les Grands Feux site?

For tickets that do not include reserved seating, you are allowed to bring a blanket and/or folding chair onto the site to enjoy the pyromusical shows. This way, you can freely enjoy the 4 hours of entertainment available before the show.

I tried to buy tickets online, but it's not working. Can you help me?

1. Make sure you're entering a credit card number, not a debit card number. Distractions happen!

2. Make sure your address and postal code match the information linked to your credit card. Avoid debit/credit mix-ups.

3. If the problem persists, contact us at info@feux.qc.ca. Our team will be happy to help!

I bought my tickets online, but I did not receive a confirmation email or a copy of my tickets by email.

Exchange or Refund

- The event takes place rain or shine. Only major bad weather may cause a postponement. If postponed, Wednesday tickets will be valid on Thursday, and Saturday tickets on Sunday. If the show is cancelled a second time, no refunds will be issued.

- Les Grands Feux does not do any refunds. 

- The Gift Card is non-refundable, non-reloadable, and cannot be converted to cash or credited to a credit card or bank account;

Plan your visit

Where is Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy located?

The site is set up on the magnificent grounds of the popular Canadian Museum of History. Its open surroundings are bordered by the Ottawa River, and offer several views of Parliament Hill in Ottawa, on the opposite shore.

Please note that the main entrance of the Canadian Museum of History will no longer be accessible for entry to the event site. Please use the site's two main entrances, at the corner of Laurier-Victoria and the corner of Laurier-Pont Alexandra.

Can I leave the site once my ticket has been validated?

Your ticket allows you to enter the site only once; if you leave, you will not be able to re-enter. We invite you to plan your visit accordingly.

I'm coming from out of town, do you have accommodation suggestions?

Rain is forecast during a fireworks evening? Postponed or cancelled?

The event will take place, rain or shine. Only major bad weather could force a show to be postponed. In case of postponement, tickets will automatically be transferred to the following evening: Wednesday tickets will be valid Thursday evening, and Saturday tickets will be valid Sunday evening. If the show were to be cancelled a second time, no refund will be offered.

Watch out for umbrellas!

Umbrellas are not permitted during the pyromusical show in order to avoid obstructing other spectators' view. In case of rain, we recommend bringing a raincoat.

Small umbrellas are however permitted on site during your movements around the site. Large umbrellas are not allowed.

Access for wheelchairs and strollers

People with reduced mobility or families with strollers can access the site through the two main entrances, at the corner of Laurier-Victoria and the corner of Laurier-Pont Alexandra.

For people with reduced mobility, a dedicated area with private restrooms will be set up near the river on the event site.

What are the recommended modes of transportation to get to Les Grands Feux site?

Bicycle

Parking with bike racks and surveillance will be available.

Bus
STO regular network: Plani-Bus schedule.

On foot
A good healthy walk is always appreciated!

Aqua-Taxi
Electric boats on the water, Aqua-Taxi and Aqua-Limo.

Car
Be sure to arrive early. Paid spots are available in the surrounding area. Some congestion is possible upon arrival and departure.

Where can I park my car?

Please note that the Canadian Museum of History parking lot will not be accessible to the general public.

Other options:

Maison du Citoyen parking (Portage I and II sections) ($) at a cost of $15, sold online through the event's ticket office

address: 98 Victoria Street, parking opens at 5:45 p.m.

Important: Please note that vehicles must not exceed 6 ft 2 in in height (only sedans and small SUVs are permitted; large trucks are not allowed).

Around the site:
Several private paid parking lots on Hull Island, rates set by the operators.

Is there food and beverages for sale on-site?

Absolutely! You can enjoy a wide range of choices starting at 6 p.m. It's the perfect opportunity to make interesting culinary discoveries. Check out the full offering here.

In addition, SAQ Bistros await you to introduce you to their specialties and a wide variety of Quebec products.

Can I bring food onto the site?

Unfortunately, outside food is not permitted on site. It's the perfect opportunity to try one of our many food trucks or discover the creations of our local chefs as part of the Taste the Sky experience!

Remider: don't forget your reusable water bottle. Refill stations are available on site.

Is it permitted to vape, smoke cigarettes, or smoke cannabis on-site?

The Canadian Museum of History site offers a non-smoking environment, but a designated area will be set up away from the main area on the event site. Only cigarette smoking and vaping will be permitted there.
Failure to respect this zone may result in expulsion from the site.
As in public places, cannabis use remains prohibited.
