L’Incandescent brings together guest chefs from some of the best restaurants in town to dazzle your taste buds.

L’Incandescent, pop-up BBQ restaurant

As soon as you arrive at the site, the smell of grilled meats and vegetables brings you into the best of summer. Smoke from Argentinean grills and smokers add a festive touch to the atmosphere of BBQ picnics, just like when you meet up with a group of friends in the parks to celebrate the warm season.

Custom-designed and using wood and charcoal cooking techniques, it will bring together guest chefs per night from among the best addresses in town. This new event will invite gatherings and discoveries in a relaxed mode, on the riverfront, near the Alexandra Bridge, next to a Bistro SAQ lined with tables for picnics.

Participating chefs

Each evening, on the shores of the Alexandra Bridge on the grounds of the Canadian Museum of History, a brigade of renowned chefs will cook over an open fire an identical themed menu each evening, including main courses, side dishes and desserts.

The Picnic Box is a local proposal that has been specially designed to be enjoyed on the event site with the purchase of a Grands Feux ticket. This box contains a gastronomic discovery meal composed of small dishes for 2 people concocted by Outaouais restaurateurs. For a family of 4, we recommend that you purchase 2 Picnic Boxes.
