3 successful first evenings at Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy
Gatineau, August 11, 2022 – Les Grands Feux kicked off the festivities in style last week, on Wednesday, August 3. So far, the anniversary edition is proving to be one of the most surprising for its participants. There are still 3 opportunities to enjoy it: August 13, 17 and 20.
“We’re off to a magical start for the 25th anniversary of Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the work of our teams and suppliers, as well as the contribution of our volunteers and partners, not to mention the public’s great love of the event! Seeing the stars in the children’s eyes and the interaction of participants with our new universe fills me with gratitude, and I’m already looking forward to the last three grandiose shows we’ll be putting on between now and August 20,” says Marc-Antoine Massicotte, President and CEO of Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy.
Multisensory experiences that get people talking
The Les Grands Feux site is brimming with multi-sensory experiences rich in flamboyant and digital surprises not to be missed this year. Attendees discovered a completely transformed site, offering 4 hours of entertainment from 6 p.m. every evening.
Le Grand Feu, the site’s central gathering point, where you can gather to admire its transformation as night falls.
The Oasis, an installation of leaves and lights that refreshes with its soft mist on hot days.
The new entrances and exits to the site allow The Luminous Paths to change as the evening progresses.
The Lantern, a colorful, illuminated suspended rest area at the foot of the trees by the river.
BBQ pop-up restaurant: popular with the public
L’Incandescent, located near the Alexandra Bridge, welcomes 2 Outaouais restaurateurs per evening with menus rich in local flavours! A unique new gastronomic offering that’s a must-see before the end of the event. The next Fire Masters :
