About the Contest
Everything you need to know before participating, and the official rules.
Take your photos or videos during any night of Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy, then click “Enter” above. You can attach up to three files per submission—they’ll appear together as a single post.
Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, and WEBP up to 100 MB; MP4 and MOV up to 100 MB. No purchase necessary. You may submit multiple entries, but you can only win once.
The contest runs from August 1 through August 17, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
Ten (10) prizes are available. Each prize consists of a pair of reserved-seat passes for the evening of your choice from the 2027 edition, subject to availability, with an approximate retail value of $82 CAD per prize.
Winners are selected at random on August 28, 2026 and contacted by email at the address provided upon entry. Before receiving their prize, each selected winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question — this is a legal requirement.
As soon as you submit it, your post appears at the top of the feed with a “Pending Approval” label. At that point, only you can see it—no one else can view it.
A team member reviews each submission before it goes live. Once approved, the label disappears and your post appears in the community feed.
Note: If you switch browsers or clear your browsing data, you’ll lose sight of your own pending post. It’s still there—it just becomes visible again once it’s approved.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to reject any entry that was not filmed at Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy, or that is hateful, violent, sexual, defamatory, discriminatory, or illegal.
We also reject content that infringes on the rights of a third party—including image rights and copyright—or that promotes a product, service, or brand.
Anyone can report a post. Three separate reports will automatically remove it from the feed until a moderator reviews it.
It’s up to you. You retain full ownership of everything you submit.
By participating, you authorize Les Grands Feux to reproduce, publish, adapt, and distribute your media on this website, on their social media platforms, and in their promotional materials, with your first name credited.
You confirm that this media belongs to you and that you have obtained the consent of any identifiable person appearing in it. You may request the removal of your content at any time by emailing info@feux.qc.ca.
We collect your first name, your email address, and—if you provide it—your Instagram username. This information is used to administer the contest and to contact you if you win—nothing else, unless you check the optional box to receive updates from Les Grands Feux.
Your information is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. The geolocation data contained in your photos (EXIF) is automatically removed when your files are processed: it never ends up online.
To access your information or have it corrected, email info@feux.qc.ca.

1. Organizer
The “Your Best Moment at Les Grands Feux” contest (the “Contest”) is organized by Les Internationaux Pyrotechniques de Gatineau, with its head office at 100, rue Laurier, Gatineau (Québec) J8X 4H2 (the “Organizer”). Questions: info@feux.qc.ca. The Contest is in no way sponsored, administered by, or associated with Meta, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or any other social media platform.
2. Contest Period
From August 1, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. to August 17, 2026 at 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time. Any entry received outside this period is refused. The timestamp recorded by the Organizer’s servers governs.
3. Eligibility
You must reside and be domiciled in Québec or Ontario, have reached the age of majority in your province, and be the author of the content submitted, holding all rights to it. Directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives of the Organizer, its affiliated companies, its sponsors and its agencies, as well as persons domiciled with them, are excluded. A participant may submit several posts but may win only one prize.
4. How to Enter
No purchase required. During the Contest Period, fill out the form on this page by uploading one to three photos or videos you took at Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy, provide the requested information and accept these rules. Each submission constitutes one entry, regardless of the number of files. Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP (100 MB max), MP4, MOV (100 MB max).
5. Refused Content
The Organizer refuses, at its sole discretion and without having to give reasons, any entry that was not captured at Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy; that is hateful, violent, sexual, defamatory, discriminatory or illegal in nature; that infringes the rights of a third party, in particular image rights or copyright; that promotes a product, service or brand; or that contravenes these rules. A refusal gives rise to no compensation.
6. Prizes
Ten (10) prizes are offered. Each prize consists of a pair of reserved-seat passes for the evening of the winner’s choice, subject to availability, from among the evenings on the program of the 2027 edition. Approximate retail value: $82 CAD per prize, for an approximate total of $820 CAD. The prize must be accepted as awarded and is neither transferable, nor redeemable for cash, nor exchangeable. No substitution, except by the Organizer, who may replace a prize with another of equal or greater value. Travel, parking, meals and any expense not mentioned are the winner’s responsibility.
7. Selection of Winners
On August 28, 2026 at 10 a.m., at the Organizer’s head office, ten entries will be selected by random draw from among all eligible and approved entries. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
8. Mathematical Skill-Testing Question
To be declared a winner, the selected participant must, without assistance of any kind, correctly solve the following equation, which will be put to them at the time of claim: (12 × 4) + 25 − 7 = ? This requirement is imposed by law. An incorrect answer results in disqualification and a new draw.
9. Claiming the Prize
The selected participant is notified by email within five business days following the draw. Within ten days of that notice, they must correctly answer the skill-testing question, confirm their eligibility, choose their evening and sign the declaration and release form. Failing that, or in the event of a returned email, ineligibility or refusal, the prize is deemed forfeited and the Organizer may hold a new draw without further notice.
10. Rights to the Content
The participant retains ownership of their content. They grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free and transferable licence to reproduce, publish, adapt and distribute the content, in whole or in part, on its websites, its social media and its promotional materials, with a mention of their first name, for a period of three years from submission, without further compensation. The participant warrants that they are the author of the content, that they hold all necessary rights and that they have obtained the consent of every identifiable person appearing in it, and holds the Organizer harmless from any third-party claim. Withdrawal may be requested at any time at info@feux.qc.ca; a withdrawal after the draw does not cancel the awarding of a prize.
11. Personal Information
The information collected (first name, email, social media handle where applicable) is used solely to administer the Contest, unless separate and optional consent is given to receive communications. It is neither sold nor disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes. Geolocation data contained in photos (EXIF) is removed automatically during processing. It is kept for as long as necessary to administer the Contest, then destroyed, subject to legal obligations. Access and correction: info@feux.qc.ca. Processing is governed by the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Québec).
12. Limitation of Liability
The participant releases the Organizer, its sponsors, its agencies and their directors, officers, employees and agents from all liability for any damage arising from their participation or from the acceptance, use or enjoyment of a prize. The Organizer assumes no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or not received, nor for any technical, computer or network failure. It reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Contest if an event or human intervention compromises its administration, security or integrity, subject to applicable laws. Any attempt to interfere with the legitimate operation of the Contest may result in disqualification and legal proceedings.
13. General Provisions
The Contest is governed by the laws applicable in Québec. Any decision of the Organizer is final and without appeal. If a provision is held to be void or unenforceable, the others remain in force. In the event of any discrepancy between the French version and any translation, the French version prevails.
