What is the program and formula for the 28th edition of Les Grands Feux?

In 2025, you can enjoy 6 immersive evenings from start to finish, where an array of discoveries and pleasures combining world-class pyromusical shows, local gastronomy and digital art awaits you. What days will Les Grands Feux take place between July 30 and August 16, 2025?

Fireworks evenings will be held on Wednesdays and Saturdays from July 30 to August 16, 2025: July 30 and August 2, 6, 9, 13 and 16, 2025, starting at 6 p.m. at the Canadian Museum of History.

What are the themes and caliber of Les Grands Feux in 2025?

In 2025, Les Grands Feux returns with the international fireworks festival launched from our barge on the Ottawa River, against the backdrop of Canada's Parliament! 25 minutes of dazzling fireworks and exhilarating music await you on the magnificent site of the Canadian Museum of History.

In addition to the Grand Opening and Grand Finale shows, Japan, Australia, Mexico and Canada will be offering grandiose pyromusical performances.

What is the detailed firework evening schedule?

Every Wednesday and Saturday between July 30 and August 16, 2025, 4 hours of entertainment await you:

Site opening: 6 p.m.

Pyromusical show starts: 9:15 p.m.

Deadline for entering the site before the show: 9 p.m.

Site closes: 10:00 p.m.

Online ticketing service

Where and when can I buy my ticket for Grands Feux 2025?

All tickets must be purchased through our online ticketing service. No tickets will be available at the door.

Tickets are available in electronic format only and will be emailed to you upon completion of your purchase through the box office. You can print your ticket or present it directly from your smartphone when you arrive at the site entrances.

What types of tickets and packages are available for the Grands Feux 2025?

Ticket types:

General Admission: adults, children, infants and 6 Fireworks General Admission Passport: gives you access to the event site and activities. We recommend that you bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on a grassy area.

Reserved Seating: 6 Fireworks Passport, 1 Firework Experience: Gives you access to the event site and activities. A reserved seat will be waiting for you in one of our riverside sections.

Reduced Mobility : gives you access to the event site and its activities, as well as to an adapted area with toilets nearby. The accompanying person is included in the ticket price.

Gourmet Evening: start your evening with a 3-course gourmet dinner at the Grande Galerie. The package includes dinner, as well as a reserved seat on the roof of the Canadian Museum of History to admire the late-night pyromusical show.

Do I need to buy a ticket for my child or my baby?

Anyone coming to the Grands Feux, regardless of age, must have a ticket to access the site.

Tickets for babies (0 to 3 years old) are free. This ticket is available here.

Children’s tickets (4 to 12 years old) are available at a reduced price. This ticket is available here.

Is there a minimum age to attend Les Grands Feux?

No, there's no minimum age to attend the Grands Feux, but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to enter the site.

Can I bring a folding chair or a blanket to Les Grands Feux?

For tickets that do not include reserved seating, it is permitted to bring a blanket and/or folding chair to the site to enjoy the pyromusical shows. This will allow you to freely enjoy the 4 hours of entertainment before the show.

I tried to buy tickets online, but it’s not working. Can you help me?

1. Make sure you enter a credit card number, not an ATM card number. Distractions do happen!

2. Make sure your address and postal code match your credit card information. Avoid debit/credit.

3. If the problem persists, contact us at info@feux.qc.ca. Our team will be happy to help you!

I bought my tickets online, but I did not receive a confirmation email or a copy of my tickets by email.

Have you checked your email and junk mail boxes? Some legitimate emails sometimes slip through! If you can’t find it, send us a message at info@feux.qc.ca. Our team will be happy to help you!

Exchange or refund

- The Gift Card can be used exclusively on our online ticketing service at billetterie.feux.qc.ca. It is not accepted by merchants on the event site;

- The Gift Card is non-refundable, non-reloadable and cannot be converted to cash or credited to a credit card or current account;

- It can be used to purchase all types of tickets available online;

- The Gift Card can be used in one or more transactions up to the amount available. If the entire balance of the card is not used, the customer may use the Gift Card for another purchase. On the other hand, if the balance on the Gift Card is insufficient for the purchase the customer wishes to make, the customer may complete the payment by any other payment method accepted by our online ticketing service. Any difference will be indicated in the shopping cart at the time of transaction;

- When the Gift Card is purchased, the available balance will be the activated value of the Gift Card. When the balance reaches zero, the card will no longer be valid and all transactions will be refused.

Where is the site of Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy?

The site is located on the beautiful grounds of the popular Canadian Museum of History. Its open environment is bordered by the Ottawa River and offers many views of Ottawa’s Parliament Hill on the other side.

Please note that the main entrance to the Canadian Museum of History will no longer be accessible to enter the event site. Please use the two main entrances to the site: Laurier-Victoria and Laurier-Alexandra Bridge.

Can I leave the site once my ticket has been validated?

Your ticket allows you to enter the site only once, if you exit, you will not be able to re-enter. We encourage you to plan your visit accordingly.

I will be arriving from out of town, do you have any suggestions for accommodations?

It’s raining during the fire evenings? Postponed or canceled?

The event will take place rain or shine. Only extreme weather conditions could lead to the postponement of a show. In such a case, tickets will automatically be transferred to the following evening: Wednesday tickets will be valid on Thursday night, Saturday tickets will be valid on Sunday night. If the show is cancelled a second time, no refund will be issued.

Beware of umbrellas!

Umbrellas are not allowed in order to avoid blocking the field of vision of neighboring spectators and for your safety. In case of rain, we advise you to bring a raincoat!

Access for wheelchairs and strollers

People with reduced mobility or families with strollers can use the two main entrances to the site, the Laurier-Victoria corner and the Laurier-Alexandra Bridge corner.

For people with reduced mobility, a privileged area with private toilets will be set up near the river on the event site.

What are the recommended means of transportation to get to the site of Les Grands Feux?

Bicycle A parking lot with bike racks and surveillance will be available.  

Bus Regular STO network: Plani-Bus schedule.  

By foot A healthy walk is always appreciated!  

Aqua-Taxi Electric boats on the water Aqua-Taxi and Aqua-Limo.  

Car Be sure to arrive early. Paid parking is available in the area. Some congestion may occur on the way in and out.

Where can I park my car?

Please note that the parking lot of the Canadian Museum of History will be inaccessible to the general public.

Other options: Maison du Citoyen parking (Portage I and II sections) ($) at a cost of $15 sold online via the event box office.

Important : Please note that vehicles cannot exceed 6’2’’ in height (only sedans and small SUVs are permitted; large trucks are not allowed.)

On the outskirts of the site: Several private, paid parking lots on Hull Island, rates set by operators.

Is there food and beverages for sale on site?

Absolutely! You will be able to enjoy a wide range of choices starting at 6:00 pm. It’s the perfect opportunity to make some interesting culinary discoveries.

In addition, SAQ Bistros are waiting for you to discover their specialties and a wide variety of Quebec products.

Can I bring food on the site?

Only small soft bar snacks will be allowed on site. Coolers, picnic boxes and other bags containing large amounts of food are not allowed on site. This is the perfect opportunity to try out one of the many food trucks, or to taste the creations of our talented local chefs in our new gourmet pop-ups! Please note: only reusable plastic water bottles will be allowed on the site this year. You will have the chance to take advantage of our refill stations on site.

Is vaping, smoking cigarettes or cannabis allowed on the site?

The Canadian Museum of History site is a non-smoking environment, but a designated smoking area will be set aside on the event site. Only cigarettes and vaping will be permitted. Failure to comply with this zone may result in expulsion from the site. As in all public areas, the use of cannabis remains prohibited.
